@techdavey1000 If you don't like "gas guzzlers" why are you watching this video instead of hugging a tree? In fact, do you have any idea how much oil was used just to make your computer and get it to you so that you can use it to suggest there should be limits on how much (oil derived) fuel racing engines should be allowed to use?
If people want high horsepower engines that use alot of gas, and they can afford it, let them have their fun.

In England pump gas now costs about $10 per imperial gallon. Diesel fuel costs more but gives better mpg. I am amazed that people are still putting effort into gas-guzzlers such as these. As to the Veyron, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole even if I were a billionaire. Motor racing ought to be altered so that one is only allowed a certain amount of fuel in (say) a 24 hour race. If this were done the gas-hogs would never finish :-)

NICE video. I have a LS2 GTO that I just rebuilt with the same Compression Ratio forged pistons, forged H-beams, forged Ferrea valves and ARP2000 hardware throughout. I currently have the MP112. Any idea as to what the ideal boost would be? I'm concerned with over boosting and making it pump hot air and loosing more power.
Also, ur HP dyno results are with or without Meth injection? What sorta AF ratios are u running?

@marek0086 Intergrated air to water intercooler. It runs a heat exchanger in front of the radiator to cool the water. Check it out on magnacharger com

@DATSUNzCRASH~ is it intercooled??..... can u even intercool these PD superchargers??
-
god all those pulleys make me sick
-
@aszilagyi4292 We were testing a few different things during these pulls. ie - different pulley set ups and pushing the boost way up. That only happens at very high RPMs on this particular engine. Normal Magna Charger kits do not experience any pulley hop.
-
im curious but at 1:15 is that pully hop normal?
It's a bad sonofabitch that's for sure, I do not like seeing that tensioner jumping around at about ~6000-6500 RPM though. I hear the blower note change too everytime it stumbles. Was there a little bit of ignition or fueling trouble?

@IDRIVEAG8GT - No fuel/ignition issues. They were trying different pulleys and pushing that belt to the max. Improvements have been made since them to avoid that issue. Standard Magnuson Kits on stock-to-slightly modified cars will never encounter that tensioner problem.
