  • very nice thank you

  • great tip on loop tying the bucktail to secure it and keeping the different colors separated

    all good

    buzz

  • Good stuff. The brookies love the Mickey Finn here in Maine.

  • I love fishing the Mickey Finn in the early spring here in New Brunswick for Atlantic salmon but it's not only for salmon, trout, bass, pike and pickerel seem to like chomping down on it as well. Great fun to fish.

  • I tie a variant of this fly with gold flat tinsel, oval silver tinsel, and yellow and orange goat hair. Very effective fishing brook trout !

  • lol this hook cracks me up

  • hmmm it looks like tou need to tighten your jaws just a little more..not a lot

  • Good tie of the original version. I fish a variant tied with a tube of silver, nylon, plastic canvas cord with the wing, same colours, of dyed monga ringtail . This has proven to be a really good pattern for me for Atlantic salmon during water around 45-50F and even in coloured water.

  • oh hmmm lol i dono i would take it back to the fucker who sold it to you lmao :P

  • its a buck tail tho not like strips or anything. its crazy, idk what it is but yeah
