I would like to ask, when I have two squares for example wich are 180 dgr roteted and I use interpolate, how to make the new objects will not be lined in a row but in half circle? Is it even possible?

@Krowe2020 ~ p.s. also, when i select the square & then click the nodes tool to see which node is the starting node ~ mine doesn't change color but rather the upper left node has a line on top & on bottom, the upper right has the left corner lined, the lower right has a line on the left & right & the lower left node doesn't have any lines. i have inkscape 0.48 ~ so, does anyone know how i can tell which is the starting node? TY 4 ur time.

@Krowe2020 .... "ideas, thoughts ... (ooops typo)

I am just curious ... when you use the square & circle ~ yours spins a lot more & distorts the squares more as they progress than mine do ~ any idea why? Your ideas? thoughts would be greatly appreciated. TY for an other great video!!

@MrSaverioGentile
I've never tried what you are doing so I will not be much help. I did do a google search and found an extension called inkscape2tikz. If this is not what you're using then you might want to take a look at it. You could also go the official Inkscape website and post your question on their forum.

Thanks for this tutorial, you have given us some different shapes & replications/interpolations to play with. I hadn't really thought about it, but it only makes sense about the circle starting @ the zero degree x-axis, then rotating just as done in math class 90 degrees vertical top, 270 degrees vertical bottom, etc. Not sure why the square has an origin of top left (reading reference?). Did I miss it, or did you tell us how to change the origin of the shape selected?

@quilterstitch
The only way that I am aware of, for changing the origin of a shape, is to manipulate the shape in some way. For instance, rotating an object will change its origin.
