The New England style Contra Dance band Airdance performs 'Flying Home to Shelly' in their fine style. This is an excerpt from a concert they played at the Folkmadness dance camp in May, 2003. They have a special energy that adds a dimension of eloquence to the dances and performances they play. Not to mention the energetic and informative workshops they teach. You'll want to fly on home to wherever they are performing next!
I could watch Mary Kay Brass all night.

Rodney Miller is a national fiddle champion and has been playing for contra dancers since early youth. Airdance frequently plays at contra dances. This video does not show dancers or calling, but it does present a halfway decent audio recording of their energetic and inspiring music, along with a view of the band at some distance.

A fabulous band, so melodic! That's the famous Rodney Miller fiddling Paul Gitlitz's "Flying Home to Shelley" for those who don't know.
