Job Description:

OVERVIEW
This job performs complex program, design, coding, documentation, and database analysis to meet specifications for system modifications, enhancements and development. This job prepares test data and scripts, tests and debugs programs. It implements programs and provides production support. May require on-call status. Work under deadlines, assigned concurrent projects, and receive general direction. This position is highly tailored toward web-related projects and development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
„X Actively participate in the analysis, design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance of systems.
„X Evaluate proposed program changes and corrections, and recommend methods of implementation. Develop and implement conversion plans as applicable.
„X Code and test program modifications, develop test data, and organize the test schedule to sufficiently prove the system prior to implementation.
„X Document new and updated programs and systems, and assist in preparation of materials for and training of operators and users of the programs.
„X Organize and document technical environment and security procedures according to in-house specifications.
„X Diagnose cause for interruptions, delays, and difficulties in processing, and take corrective action in accordance with operating instructions. Fulfill scheduled processing requirements in accordance with established timetables.
„X Recommend changes to existing system use to enhance overall benefit of the installed computer systems.
„X Establish operation run procedures to process jobs after adequate testing and implementation of new or enhanced systems.
„X Adhere to IT standards and procedures, and assist with development of standards and procedures.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
„X Oversee and/or assist with special projects or duties as assigned.
„X Attend training, off-site or in-house.
„X Works on developing business requirements for developed in-house and for replacement or new systems being considered in the Bank.

Requiring 4-7 years related work experience
Manages small to mid-size scoped projects .
Increasing knowledge of the technical aspects of applications, database and network infrastructure.
Works closely with IT Applications and Production Systems teams communicating business needs and technical requirements, rules and functionality.
The position would also ensure that all requirements are met throughout the systems development lifecycle.

Sr. Software Developer Job #278 Grade 19
Requiring 8+ years related work experience.
Manages the most complex software development projects.
Manages large, complex software development projects.
Provides leadership and effectively mentors the software development team providing assistance and expertise as necessary.
Coordinates large projects; providing facilitation, presentation and project coordination skills to throughout the systems development process.
Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of SQL, databases and network infrastructure.
Works closely with IT Applications and Production Systems teams communicating business needs and technical requirements, rules and functionality.
The position would also ensure that all requirements are met throughout the systems development lifecycle.
Proactively investigates new technologies and makes recommendation to management.
Possesses adequate knowledge of the business to provide valuable team collaboration toward meeting the overall strategic goals of the bank through technology.
