ΚΑΛΛΙΤΕΧΝΙΚΟ ΠΑΤΙΝΑΖ. Marina Viatcheslavovna Anissina (Russian: Марина Вячеславовна Анисина, born August 30, 1975 in Moscow, Russian SSR) is a French-Russian ice dancer. With partner Gwendal Peizerat, she is the 2002 Olympic champion. On February 23, 2008, Anissina married Russian actor Nikita Dzhigurda in Moscow after the two met when they were partnered on a celebrity ice dancing television show. On January 7, 2009 the couple welcomed a son, Mik-Angel Krist (in Russian: Мик-Анжель Крист). In May 2009, Dzhigurda confirmed that they are expecting a second child.
Gwendal Peizerat (born April 21, 1972 in Bron, France) is a French ice dancer. With Marina Anissina, he is the 2002 Olympic champion and 1998 Olympic bronze medalist. The association of the two different cultures with different styles of skating was positive. The pair placed 3rd at 1998 Olympic Games and, in 2000, they won gold medals at the European and World Championships.

In 2002, Marina Anissina and Gwendal Peizerat became the first French Olympic Champions in ice dancing. They also won the gold medal at the European Championships that year.

After winning the Olympic gold medal they finished their amateur skating career, turned pro and appear in shows now.

  • I miss this kind of ice dancing! Their dance wasn't just movement, it was poetry, emotion, tragedy. They rival with ballet dancers! Impressive!

  • a very romantic, sensitive and full of pasion dance and two unique, amazing and wonderful ice dancers, for me the best!

My second favourite routine after "Liberta"!

  • they totally ripped off twarvel and dean

  • it's amazing how they interpret the music ...

  • oh my god, I rememember watching this with my mum and i was 5 years old. This one amazed me a lot, this passion overwhelmed me back then and it made the same happened a while ago. I still think this is one is one of the most beautiful things i've seen.

  • My goodness :O It is perfect, marvellous.

  • @russianjewels they actually do rival with dancers here...not like today...

  • HERMOSOS LOS RUSOS, SIEMPRE HAN SIDO Y SERAN LOS AMOS Y SEÑORES DEL PATINAJE SOBRE HIELO..... ESPECTACULAR

  • the movements never stop, everything is fluid, the skating is fluid with exquisite transitions, grand bravo marina et gwendal, i can 't stop watching this

  • I also miss this dancing, judges have killed ice dancing because instead being into sport and art they were in money they want to get, useless patriotism, lobbying which way far from this master piece of sport and art. the movement are very fluid in this iceballet, the amrina and gwendal design images that stay in our mind, we can identified the emotions and the things that they wan to show us. M & G we will never forget you

  • Marina y Gwendal, siempre serán los mejores por su historia que les precede y aún con lo que están haciendo en la actulidad, siempre serán los Dioses del hielo!

  • Until Anissina and Peizerat, I did not like Ice Dancing at all. This couple was incredible. To this day, I have yet to see a couple as awesome as they were! Todays Ice Dancers are good, but Anissina and Peizerat were spectacular!
