Latin text of the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, with music by Charles Gounod ("Messe Solennelle de Ste Cecile") and my own slideshow. All photos and images are my own. The photos were taken in various years in Germany (2 fragments of wooden altars from Franken "qui propter nos homines et propter nostram salutem"), Switzerland (2 paintings from the Way of The Cross and one painting showing Christ in his tomb - of the latter his hand and face are shown here), Poland - most of images of the church interior are from St Mary's church in Cracow (Kraków, Krakau), the large Cricifixes are from Cracow and Katowice (the latter, the one with the white figure of Christ stands in front of St Mary's church in Katowice/Kattowitz) and in Australia - those include the big stained-glass-windows from St Mary's Catholic cathedral in Victoria Square in Perth as well as the interior of that cathedral ("confiteor unum baptisma") and one image of the interior of the Anglican cathedral of St George in Perth. From the Catholic cathedral are also 3 images of the modern, sculpted Way of The Cross. The painting of the Holy Trinity (The Father, The Son sitting next to each other and the "dove" of The Holy Spirit above them) is also from the same Catholic cathedral in Perth.
However the painting used here for "et vitam venturi saeculi" does not come from any church, but from a completely different building altogether - and namely from a high school in Katowice (Kattowitz) built in the 19 century and currently known as the Adam-Mickiewicz-High-School in that city. Two church interiors come from wooden churches in Poland (1 from Upper Silesia and 1 from Western Galicia).
"Et exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum" is illustrated with coffins from the Reformaten-Kirche in Cracow and with sarcophagi from the Wawel crypt, including the one of king John III Sobieski, king Vladislav Jagiełło and of Tadeusz Kościuszko. Landscapes are from Western Australia.

  • I loved your slide show until it arrived at the part where you inserted "Buddah, Muhammed," etc. I had shared it with my friends, before I saw that part, and now sorry that I did!

  • @aybenny Really nothing to be sorry about. Just opposite! Buddha was a great Eastern leader, Muhammad - the founder of Islam, Marcion was a great Christian leader of the 2 century AD and Manichaeus was a very sensitive Persian prophet.

New Age propaguje równość Proroków i "proroków".

  • @KamilMozart : Szanuję Twój pogląd, ale osobiście mam inny. Prorocy Izraela mało mnie obchodzą, nie jestem ani judaistą ani judaizerem. Jestem marcjonitą, gnostykiem i doketystą. Tak zwany "Stary Testament" nie jest przeze mnie akceptowany jako chrześcijański (patrz: link pod video, na moim blogu jest też w języku polskim). Z tak zwanym "New Age" mało mam wspólnego i nie obchodzi mnie on zanadto.

  • In this case LAPSUS!!!

  • No, it should not. It is being sung as "lapsus", Padre Inquisitor. It differs from the usual text, but I could not care less. Alone while preparing this video I listened to that passage dozens of times. And altogether since 1999 I have listened to various performances altogether several thousand times. But if you really want to, than send an appendix to your "report" to the hierarchy in Perth to "expose" my "blasphemy". They will certainly give it the attention it deserves...
