  • i play on voilent games dusent make me wont to go shoot some one your just crazy its not games datdoo dat

  • These people make me sick, the columbine had nothing to do with videogames, it was stress related, that is misused to prove a point. That had nothing to do with games and to be honest, these students are proving no point, I have yet to hear how violence relates to the videogames, they've only stated that games have violence in them, they are far from being professionals on the topic, they're jumping around the topic too much.

  • i hare morality preachers

  • Doom is not the problem its just a freaking game god dang it

  • Hey retard politicians

  • Doom is not the reason why this happened. It was the carelessness of Eric's and Dylan's parents. Letting them listen to ICP, Marilyn Manson, letting them play doom without any guidance blinds them from their better judgement. If they got help from their parents about the bullying and let them know it's wrong to kill people, then maybe this wouldn't have happen. Parents aren't doing their jobs nowadays which saddens me very deeply.

  • These PEOPLE need to MAKE THE GAMES THEMSELVES AND STOP BITCHING ABOUT EVERYONE ELSES!!!!

  • I bet they eat poptarts as much if not more then doom. I guess PopTarts cause Columbine.

  • in my personal opinion video games especially violent ones help because if you think about it it ca calm you doen by killing unreal people some people who are messed up might just act on what they feel but if they kill something without actually injuring live things people are safe

  • The people at columbine had major metal problems. Doom was just the medias scapegoat. Games can't make people killers. People with weak judgement and life problems kill people.

  • Gaming within itself is morally neutral, but gaming trends, in my estimation have developed to include that which leads to immoral wilful behaviour, even in a virtual world. A decision making process and subsequent action still take place regardless.

The games are also tedious and repetitive beyond the eye candy; most being designed with similar goals in a new frock.

I now see few benefits to squinting at a display "destroying stuff" - "because its fun" is no real explanation.
