Brickbreaking in Bangladesh

Our group spent two hours brickbreaking in Bangladesh one day, was fun for the first lil while buttt SUCHHH hard work, we all got blisters and were totally knackered. What western world wimps huh. :)

In Bangladesh children and woman are brickbreaking for 12hours a day, every day, to earn anything, which would be less than $2.00, for a WHOLE days' work.

i really do have admiration for Bangladesh. although she is really poor.. women are given better rights in Bangladesh compare to other predominant Islam countries.. and I think that Bangladesh is destined to be an economic powerhouse 60 yrs. from now. Bangladesh has so much raw resources and manpower to use to make the country's economy boom

Please folks, they're not stupid, just disadvantaged, they live off the same amount of money a day that we spend on coffee a day. Really, because of the deep alluvial soil, they don't have rock deposits to crush for gravel for road construction.

In norway we use mortar and build walls with them ^^
