You stole that argument from Alvin Plantiga and it's bogus:

@Ranokian At 4:54, I am pointing out that since naturalism teaches that everything we know is only for survival, then if you think it is true you also have to believe everything is only for survival, instead of it being true. So you can't claim naturalism is true, you have to claim it helps with survival.
If our brains are from God then we also have free will and free thinking to believe in the untrue and rationalize it. We are not computers.

Logic and science were developed in a way that counteracts the fallacious nature of our minds.

@Ranokian I didn't say you needed the bible to claim the universe began to exist, i was merely stating that the biblical theistic concept of the universe beggining is true to refute your "no theistic claims hav ebeen proven". evidence for the universe begging is that the galaxaies are being pushed away from one another outwards by space. proof that this is occuring is the red spectrum light given off by galaxies which means they are moving away because the nature of lightwaves.

@InspiringPhilosophy Yes, i watched it all. I still cant wrap my mind around what i see at 4:54. I never said that i thought that logic decides everything. I'm just saying that if the human brain comes from God and this meaning I can trust my senses, and I'm able to see the world as it is.. My atheism is just as valid as your theism. Both our brains come from God. What I'm objecting against is your very easy conclusion that if our brains come from God, we can see reality as it is.

@Falcondick69 Okay, I see a huge misunderstanding here. Because you stated that the theistic claim of the universe began to exist has been proven, I assumed you used that claim as proof that your God (or a God) created the universe. I reacted based on that idea. Ok, now have that clear, just forget all my "god the gaps" text. However, I still dont see any proof for the universe began to exists.. And who is to say we need a God for that? It is not a theistic claim by definition.

@Batters56 OK, so how does that mean we don't pass on survival traits anymore? If we evolved for millions of years through passing on genetic information that is best for survival, what makes you think that will change in a few hundred years, for only humans in the west?
-
@Ranokian Well, not be rude, but did you watch the whole video? I say this argument doesn't prove God's existence at 4:35.
Second of all, you are assuming that logic decides everything in the brain. Even David Hume taught that reason was a slave to passion. Humans make decision with emotions, cultural influence, experience & logic.
The purpose of this video is not to prove God's existence, it jut shows the contradiction in naturalism.
-
@Ranokian to say it's possible for the monotheistic God of christianity/judaism to have created the universe isn't a God of the gaps argument. i could argue in favor of that being the case based on the ressurection of jesus. zeus couldn't have created th euniverse because he was created post universe even in his lore. so to claim im making a God of the gaps argument is again, a strawman.

@InspiringPhilosophy Well if the human brain comes from God, it allows us to experience the world as it truly is. It gives us reasons to trust our minds. That is what you say. Fine. Than you make an enormous jump: therefore we know that God exists because of.. etc. first of all: what God? Allah? And second if my human brain, given by God, decides that in my logic there is no God, or Gods.. That can only mean that my atheism is a result from a gift of God. Mind-boggling, isn't it?
@AtheistTalk99 If that is what you need to tell yourself to help with your survival then go ahead and believe it. :)
