  • @Stevieboy7 @Stevieboy7 If you would care to watch the video again. you will see that there are 2 usb ports one front and one back. Also the power connector has been made like this so that our customers do not have to go and buy extra parts like you would have to do with other docking stations. With the Byte-dock you get everything you need to be an out of the box solution. You do not have to purchase an extra power cable or video converter. Thanks for your comments though.

  • i hope you guys come out with this dock for the mid 2009 white macbook... this is the best dock design i have seen hands down- this is exactly how i would have done it. The only thing i that i would have changed is allowing a thunder bold/ mini display/ mini dvi port directly through the the dock allowing users to us which ever type of cable connection they would like- i under stand this would mean that they would need to buy an adapter but it gives more customization abilities.

  • @askloglog We can confirm that our dock "DOES" come with a Thunderbolt port on the back where the DVI connector is in the video. We also supply a thundergbolt to HDMI cable with the dock. If you choose you can always go and buy another adapter to go Thunderbolt - DVI, Thunderbolt - VGA if you choose to. Thanks for your interest though.

  • its not safe to run a macbook while its closed. It will cause it to overheat

  • @fredmagic09 From our testing it has been proven while under a constatnt load that the MacBook Pro do not operate outside of normal tempartures while docked in the Byte-dock. If you go to our FAQ you will see the results from our testing.

  • It looks like something a windows user would buy.

  • @hahaxxshadow £99.99 plus delivery. Check out the website for more.

  • @Titanz91 You would be totally right if this product would address ALL Laptop users on this planet, but it doesn´s. This is not a "what is my favorite brand" discussion. This is a discussion about the main - no, only consumer market of this product: Mac users - especially MacBook Pro Unibody Mac users. And this kind of users statistically prefer beautiful products, thats a fact. So this is just about taste and for my taste this product doesn´t even remotely harmonize with the design of the MBP.

  • @realcarthesian You sound like an idiot. Elevating yourself above others just because you use a different brand of computer? How stupid.

  • "You can see how the Byte-Dock is designed to fit into the office environment" Serious?! This thing is ugly like a bat - no affiance - and my MacBook Pro would jump right of my desk if I would force it into this thing! If my office should look like this I would buy a creepy Windows-Plastic-Notebook-Thing and run OSX on it! Where is the beauty in this product? Come on we are Mac users!

  • @fredmagic09 Garbage. I have been running my MacBook Pros closed for years.

  • So damn Expensive omg!!

  • @imCHASO At present this will only work with the MacBook Pro. However we are looking in the future to possibly create one for the MacBook and MacBook Air
