  • Good lesson, I think the STP really plays it that way, but that E-flat 7M chord shape is killing me. I prefer using this shape: XX1333 wich is technically the same chord, am I right? X68786 works for me too

  • @fazcuna Close enough for rock and roll!

  • Why call it Eb instead of D#. Or does it not matter much what you use..?

  • In this case it doesn't matter.

  • why is your action so low

  • That's the way, uh huh, uh huh, I like it.

  • Agreed 100%

STP was truely an all-genius band if you ask me. The guitar player thinks about every string when he writes, the chromatic downward progression is just perfect in this song.

The bass player especially amazes me in this song and all the other songs for that matter, that guy knows how a bass should carry a song, just genius

  • Where's the rest? Nice!

  • @fazcuna Technically, 3X1333 would be a little closer.

  • The chord after the C is similar to a Major Bar Chord, but turned into an Open C formation.

    ( E A D G B e) 6 6 5 3 3 3

665 with middle, ring, and pinky such as any bar chord, and Bar 2 frets under, rather than 1. I couldn't play the chord until i figured that way out.

  • @SoilentGr33n I totally agree with you ! Individually the guys in the band are great musicians, but even better when playing together. Kinda like watching FC Barcelona play football. I play the bass myself and I´m amazed about the intelligence behind the melodic movement - now I´ve started playing guitar, but man... those chords are tough to spot, so thx for posting this.

  • a guitar is like a women in many ways. Hold her in your arms and if she feels right then shes the one for you. Treat her with respect and care and she will play beautiful music. If you leave her strung out she will let you down and if she becomes warped or twisted, you can remove her neck.

  • try guitarmanual.typepad.com/blog/ for beginner lessons or google guitar manual blog and see first result

  • @SoilentGr33n you're really right. I've just heard the bassline of Plush, and it's complex but not complicated, and goes along well with the song rhytm

  • Nice. Good job. Thanks for posting.

  • thank u so much for this video, im about to play tht for a girl...
