Globalisation and the financial crisis are put under the microscope in the context of recent events, which have shown how interdependent the world is. Common values should unite people, but what about common losses, and who should be responsible for them?

Many blame globalistation. We analyse this and consider if the world has other options to develop? We discuss it with two people with opposing views on globalisation, Alla Glinchikova and Daniel Klein.

We can pretend that the fractional reserve system is sustainable, and it isn't. We can pretend that fiat currency is sustainable and it isn't, and we can pretend that growth is infinite and it isn't. What does that say about our economic model?

@SnowmenArePimps i think you didn't understand the topic well. let's put it this way... if you are fish in a small pond and belongs to a school of fish then suddenly all of the fishes in any small pond will be moved in the amazon river with all of the fishes around the world including the invasive fishes. what would you think would happen? weigh in the pros and cons of it and you would get the answer. hope that this helps
