However, the BOV being setup like that will cause it to run rich as a pig whenever he lets off. it's blowing out metered air away from the intake, so all that fuel's getting dumped in without the proper a/f ratio.

  • Question : Can you get that same low-strong exhaust note sound on an s15?

  • @Eriic9104 The turbo produces the heat which the unburnt fuel gets burned... You dont have to be running rich to spit fire though... theres always unburnt fuel but the heat of the turbo will bring out the flame of the unburnt fuel no matter what!

  • @240sxGuy3

Turbo's don't make it spit flames... Running rich does.

  • @Eriic9104 Mine dont shoot flames... although when it runs rich your loosing gas... i would rather wait to go turbo to spit FIRE! :)

  • @240sxGuy3

My ka24de shot flames all the time... Ran super super rich

  • your car is going rich from unmetered air from the bov. this is a maf sensor car so without a recurculation valve your going extra rich as soon as you hear your turbo noisemaker. it will also wash the cylinders down with gas and that leads to a faster wearing engine and fouled spark plugs. as much as i love a blow off valve, I wont run one on a maf car. if you have launch control you can make almost anything shoot flames with the right exhaust

  • @daltonabc you dont necessarily need a turbo. N/A's can shoot flames too, just not like this one in the vid.

@240sxGuy3 straight pipe it, FPR, little mods here and there and It'll shoot flames. Flames occur when the exhaust is hot and ignites unburned fuel.

  • is that the rsr exmag??

  • @daltonabc Maybe ill KA-T after like a year! Need money. Then after a job picks up and when KA dies ill do an SR20 swap!
