  • Decent circuit, needs a horizontal pull movement and hamstrings work though, also you should be a real man and don't rest unless you really really have to

  • @gayguy696:

    1) it is not stated anywhere that the circuit is designed to include every possible motion, so it doesn't 'need' anything. The lats work via the pull-ups and slams, and

    2) the hamstrings, in concert with the glutes, perform hip extension. Three motions in the circuit include hip extension.

    3) It is stated up front that there is a 2:1 work:rest ratio - hence, the circuit is interval training. The structured rest allows for partial heart rate recovery before pushing the rate again.

  • You call that a burpee?

  • @assasinat3d : Everyone's got a different take on what a 'real' burpee is. Football coaches, Crossfitters, Boot Camp instructors, etc., all have different definitions, and teach it differently. For the purposes of this video, yes; I call it a burpee.

  • While it would allow me to go a bit lower, looking up during the push-up would also sacrifice proper cervical posture. One must evaluate risk/benefit when programming & choosing exercises; in this case, a bit more depth is not worth the loss of proper form. Thanks for your comment.

  • bad shoulders here, what can i sub' in for the overhead bag press? great vid, thx.

  • A lighter sandbag, or even a medicine ball would suffice. If your shoulders bother you, be sure to finish any overhead pressing motions a bit to the front; it'll allow the joints to move more freely. (also, if performing seated overhead presses, angle the seat back about 20 degrees, and keep your shoulder blades in contact with the seatback while you press)

  • This looks like the idea type of work out for rugby.

  • this was really helpfull but would a tire work instead of that 85 pound bag ?

  • crossfit baby!

  • Some good ideas here, thanks. Love the bag flips!

  • @dajames619

I can imagine cause i have done it and it is a bitch

  • this is chuck norris?? LOL

  • @assasinat3d Can you imagine doing a push up and chin up all in one rep? I don't blame him for not adding the push up to the burpee.

  • that heavy bag lift is rough i can't maintain the way you do it is it alright to bear hug it during the lift from the floor?

    -keep up the good work
