  • @Lenangreal It's a humorous imitation of the 'macaronic' Portuguese that African slaves spoke in 17th century Portugal.

  • what language is this

  • king's singers + l'Arpeggiata = the best version

  • @suzie106 I do! You can get the CD on iTunes: L'Arpeggiata- Los Imposibles. And the Oya at the end is on there.

  • LOVE it.. they seem to be having as much fun as the musicians ... Brilliant and watching the facial expressions is just wonderful too... :0)x

  • Love this, and have listened to it over and over. I've watched the facial expressions with fascination and finally decided the actual words must be found somewhere. Found them, and guess what! Oya Oya actually appears in the lyrics! Well, the first one does anyway, but the lyrics don't have one at the end. Has anyone got the final version which made it to CD?

  • @imaginado .. I had to go and have a look-see... and yes I saw it too.. Made me laugh, he kind of jumps back in, cue sheepish grin alert... :0)x

  • Fantastisch!
