The Woman With 7 Personalities Part 4

Helen and Ruth were best friends at school. Helen, according to Ruth, was one of the prettiest and cleverest girls in the class. Whenever Ruth thinks of school she thinks of the fun times she shared with Helen. Soon after leaving school, however, they lost contact. Fourteen years later Helen and Ruth bumped into each other by chance on a train. As they sat together on the train, Helen told Ruth that she had Multiple Personality Disorder, had been satanically and sexually abused as a child and had tried to take her own life on a number of occasions. Since that meeting six years ago Ruth and Helen have begun to rekindle their old friendship. This film follows Ruth on her journey of discovery into Helen's world. We accompany her as she gets to know her friend again, as she tries to find out what happened to Helen in the fourteen years they were apart and to understand what it means for Helen to live with Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD).

i'm glad she has a friend, it's as if all her stages of her life has taken off a life of her own instead of just growing like nearly everyone else... IT's so sad that something so painful has happened to a person that seven "people" needed to come out to cope,, also why is none of her family involed it makes you wounder if there wasn't a evil cult, just "evil people" ,,,

@kirafaye its not uncommon for a little girl being abused to make boy alters the concept at least with my own system is "oh if i was a boy i could fight back" or "if i was a boy they wouldn't put things inside me like that" tho its not true boys get abused too but from the mind of a little girl that's how it looks.

It was really cool watching this, I've got a couple friends with MPD and watching their faces change is always kind of neat in a way. By the end of the documentary, I was actually starting to be able to tell who Helen was just by her face. God bless her

@sootywasdale I think that may be the case. Think about it: if they didn't abuse her and their daughter started acting this way, surely they would be concerned rather than wanting to distance themselves from her? I think they are hiding something.
