PLEASE READ!!! This piece was first performed at Zuzi theater in Tucson in Oct 2008. It was choreographed by all three performers, starting just hours before the performance. It is an exploration of the idea of taking the yogic ideal of non-attachment to it's logical end in the sensual realm.
THIS PIECE IS NOT ABOUT ACROYOGA! This piece uses the beauty, expressiveness and intimacy that is abundant within acroyoga to explore a sexual theme, the same way one might explore sex, or death or war and suffering with a ballet performance, or a poem. This is not a representation of any PRACTICE or TEACHING. It is performance. Please view it as such.

Non-attachment is an often mis-understood principle in many eastern philosphies. AcroYoga is a beautiful and intimate practice that often places people at the edge of what is comfortable in terms of intimacy, and trust - both of which are essential for a good partnership in Acro and romance. The ideas of non-attachment and no-expectations can often be misconstrued in a way that allows one to explore many realationships without guilt, but to questionable depth.
