Karting at Wymeswold

Our latest trip to the Wymeswold circuit. Myself and Adam have invested in all our own gear since the stuff they give you is drenched in other peoples sweat. Yum. We've got the yellow helmets on. Adam is wearing a black Sparco kart suit and I am wearing a black Shift CIK kart suit.

Ha ha, yeah it seems we're pretty unmistakable I guess! I doubt I'm gonna get any closer to that time... I can't seem to break 24 seconds. The last time sheet I've got here says the record is 22.053, is that yours? Have you guys ever done a reverse circuit race?

Yeah we were there last weekend. It was our first go on the new LPG karts, they were pretty cool actually, they don't cut out on the main straight like the old ones used to. As you can see from the crash in this I actually sustained a whiplash injury and now I have a neck brace to prevemt it again!!! There were a bunch of kids slowing me down and not checking over their shoulder before cutting across my path. We were around 25 secs, my best was like 23 on the old karts.

i go there every thursday had my first crash last time took too much speed through the chicane and ran wide and hit the barrier on the outside my best time so far is 27.699 that was the same day got a massive bruise on my knee from the crash hope to improve!

I think last time i went in early may, for my birthday, i did about 22secs, under 7.5 stone though. Wheel came off on first kart, wobbled off on the bridge, the other kart was horrible tho, it took about ten seconds to accelerate. I was in one of the small karts at first, but it was the big one that was crap!!!

I know wot u mean by that. Although that track isn't the best one, Broughton and Astley or Ashley is a lot better, longer track and it's outdoors instead of indoors. Do a vid or two on the broughton and astley or ashley one!!!

What Helmet make is that dude? It looks like a Duchini D701 which is what i've got. Yes i do race Karts, i race em at my local Track in a acadamy xD

been here today for the first time, 30 mins for £15 between 12 and 2. got a 24.256 but had 8 other cars on the track so about a second off the pace. found it hardest to get a good entry to the bridge with front wheels tending to rise.

i went there yesterday for the first time thought it was amazing and the karts handled nice aswell but my suit and helmet felt a bit sweaty (didnt like that much) my best lap was 24.020 i was over joyed because i'd never been there before am goin soon aswellwith family 2 have a race should be fun and im gonna take my own helmet.

I went to this track yesterday mate, it is a nice track, it's at a good price aswell to be fair. £25 for half an hour is about the cheapest you'll find, especially around Leicestershire area. My best lap was 24.6 seconds, I was pleased with that cos I went in Feb 08 and got a 25 second lap and came 1st out of 12 people so to beat that at only my 2nd time there is pleasing.
