  • A Moss-flap?

  • Buttheads... I had to use a proxy to view this from North America -- but anything to make my ex happy as I desperately latch onto any hope of her in my future.

Exe as in executable, like app for application. Should have left out the . I guess, my bad.

They are very alike, it's an Apple product and they're designed to be alike. You even say they're alike, icons, layout (so the UI), and the stripped down OSX. It's what makes them so useful for people with Macs is that they can pick them up and instantly know what they're doing. Same goes for the iPad.

In regards to the SMS flaw, Google "Charlie Miller Security Wikipedia". Can't post links

  • @FraggingBard iOS and Macs don't run exe files, so I don't know where you got that from. It's not the same UI. I have both, they're nothing alike apart from areas where it makes sense (like icons, layout - where it makes sense - navigation and so on). The underlying code for iOS is a stripped down OSX yes, but that's the brilliance of it. It makes it easier and faster to develop for it because it's based on tools and API's that already exist for the Mac platform.
