@mustangfordfan Taylor Swift covered this exact Dwight Yokam song at her Louisville, KY concert. To be as young as she is and to write very descriptive songs with good melody and a hook, I think she is well on her way to a long-lasting career.

REAL music... is music + a heartfelt story. Be it good or bad, happy or sad, and from any era. Dwight Yoakam is a REAL musician. He isnt as popular as he could be because he hasnt bowed down to some corporation and kissed the feet of profit. (oh, and he is a VERY talented actor. Slingblade and Crank 2 High Voltage are the 2 that spring to mind)

@mustangfordfan that "modern pop shit like Taylor swift" played this at her show last night. Now thousands of kids are exposed to it and will probably look it up. So the "modern pop shit" is going to be the same person to bring this stuff back.
