  • Did you do this all by yourself?

  • yeaahh?

learned it myself, performed it myself

  • TORIE.

    FACIAL EXPRESSION!

And they are right...Its a little signed English. But I blame Theo for that more than you.

  • ehhh don't hate, i'm usually the best at facial expressions lol

    yeah, Theo ruined me

  • me and my friend are doing this for our talent show and ideas on how we can learn it in 5 mounths and be perfect?????

  • @TheCleaverOne573 Probably not since it was not signed very conceptually accurate. Very confusing signs.

  • Really cool!

  • love Love LOVED it!! Girl you are awesome!! You should be PROUD of your self!! A solo song is hard to sign, and a duet is even harder!! And this song, you did PERFECT!! Keep up the great work!!

  • was that sighn langege i'm sorry if i speeled it wrong

  • Your great! I bet alot of deaf people enjoyed this! I hope you are very proud of yourself!

  • that was the best ive ever seen it signed... im actually doing this song for my asl class as a project and i might do your version.. i really liked it :)

  • (realizing you posted this some time ago you probabl already learned alot more)

anyway the sign for too late that you are using is actually the sign for later the correct sign would be the one where your fingers all point down and you wave it back (also glossed at late or not yet), another suggestion instead of something is not same can sign something different-a little easier and more clear :) keep up good work

  • Like others have said not bad for learning it in such short time. Some have said this is PSE but quite frankly it's pretty straight Enlish. There's nothing wrong with signing a song in signed English but it's not REALLY ASL. You have good facial expression and good musicality so I'm sure with practice and more knowledge of ASL you'll be able to do a true ASL version and knock it out of the park.

In the meantime there are a few things you could do to make it conceptually more accurate...

  • simply incredible!!!!!

  • Very nice, however I agree with some of the other commentary. Facial expression is EVERYTHING in ASL (act for goodness sakes!) and you've done more PSE than ASL. (Which is rather easy to do when you are signing music.) and one more thing... the toe tapping that moves your whole body? Loose it, it distracts HIGHLY from the message you are trying to get across.

For having learned and performed it in a few days though... good work!
