  • The first settlers were the Scots-Irish, who brought the music with them when they came.

  • Their music sound more irish than country

  • @sgmiller005 Autumn is nice but come on out in the dead of winter and catch a snowfall or a hoarfrost in Cades Cove, it's something to see.

  • I agree with TNLand279InclineWay; The fall is the best time for the NC/Tenn mountains. Google leaf report or Fall color watch in the end of September. They will afford you a decent idea of when peak color is. But be aware, everyone else will show up then as well.

  • @extremlywell It would have to be the fall. All the leaves are changing, you see a lot of wildlife activity, and the weather is never better than in the fall.

  • what is the best time of the year to visit the park?

  • love the video and especially the first instumental song. great old time mountain music with that chilling drop in the rythm!

  • Very cool video
