People think of jazz as being cerebral and meloncoly but this is proof that it can be catchy and upbeat. Really stays with you, true master. Too bad music is about money and market saturation these days, not enough people will ever hear songs like this. Thanks mom!

@skateitupable I agree. But here's something I've noticed: Unless the videos are someone such as Louis or Miles, many of these videos will languish away on a few thousand or even a few hundred views. The jazz videos that are the exception might have been sampled in a hip hop song. That in itself isn't a bad thing; it brings new people to the music whom otherwise may not have been exposed to it. Some of them may then go on to love the music in its original form.

Much as I love Bill's later work, this album I feel is one of his best. It has his intorverted ballad side but also lots of swing, with bounce and humour (typified by this sublime track).
