Karinastar, Lilisette and Portia are led to a secluded corner of La Vaule, where Haudrale reveals himself. He calls out three demons, and just as they are about to attack the group, Ragelise arrives and dramatically dispatches two of them as Karinastar kills the third. Ragelise then engages Haudrale, but a mysterious mage blasts him from atop a roof. Haudrale reveals himself as Spitewarden of Lady Lilith, and his companion reveals themselves as Aquila, Leader of the Cryptscale Protectorate. Aquila summons forth Galarhigg, a shadow dragon, to attack Karinastar.

Epic as it is, it just got blown away by the scene leading into the Battle of Jeuno.

Yeah, the new CSes were awesome, I'm going to go around and record them all and put them up in the next couple of days. I wanted to get the fights this time too as they were pretty fun, but I had to play PLD and my PC is too slow to tank and record at the same time. XD

Soloed this mission on RDM/NIN couple months ago lol. Truth be told only reason my ffxi account is still active is to finish the WOTG story line, i've done all others excpept A shantotto acension which if its anything like acp or mkd isnt worth mentioning anyway. Gotta say the WoTg Cs's are AwESOME, and the fights are unique and fun, like the battle of jeuno was a memorable one. I'm on Adieu lilisette waiting for the update to let us continue the story, cheers.

yea the sword in the off hand adds a nice boost to the tp gain and we all know how much dnc love tp ^^

I love how delightfully violent some of the cutscenes in WotG are. Too bad Lilisette and company glorify DNC with all sorts of movements in battle. Then they show you, with whatever job you are (I was on SCH with a staff) doing these 2 or 3 pathetic hits to knock down a kindred.
