In Northern Preah Vihear, Lao a Way of Life (Cambodia news in Khmer)

In Mekong River villages near the northern Cambodian border, Lao is the primary language. VOA Khmer's Pich Samnang travels to the remote Khone waterfalls near Laos and interviews residents of four villages in Kampong Sra Lao II commune. Let people decide their own future which country they want themself belong to; which gover. will take care of them?If Khmer gover. don't care of them and the other will,let it be.PM H.S. needs to take good care of Khmer people near&far: building road,hospital,& school for far away Khmer communities especially along borders and islands.Look beyond beyond P. Penh,S. Reap,and K. Som for example.You can't take those money,villas,luxury cars with you when you die;Share it with your own people.

They can not become Lao or to be a part of Laos just because they speak Lao.

Khmer Krom now part of Vietnam, Khmer Luer or Khmer Surin or other provinces in now Thailand been speaking Khmer why they would not become part of Cambodia once again?

If you in Cambodian territory you are always Cambodian, they have to learn the language of the country they live in or the govt must build school to educate them.

VietCunt make one guy rich and make him to stand for the leader of Cambodia to SHOW the world that he is Khmer leader, but actually, VietCunt is behind him. He can't do nothing, except to be corruption. In the 80's, VietCunt demanded Hun Sen for 40 kilometers of land inside Cambodia and next to his million dollars house, to put 1,250,000 VietCunts & their families there.That was in the '80s.That why there are so many VCunt in Camb.

@sramouykeo979 I know, We khmer are very unfortunate. Southern part of Vietnam now and many Islands not long ago was part of Khmer. It's so regretful that we lost all these large chunks of territory to Vietnam.

And now the Hun Sen govt. are encourage their congress to learn the Vietnamese language? That is outrages.

I'm shock to hear this. The government is too busy helping themselves and taking orders from Hanio. Years of government neglect will cause great harm to the young Khmer generations, not knowing what nationality they actualy belong to. Hope there will be change soon. But I don't expect the priminister to see this anytime soon because he has limited vision!
