The reason children are so fat is because women work, instead of staying at home where they belong.

People shouldn't send their kids to public school; they teach them homosexuality is o.k.
-
Also, they are CHILDREN.. When we die, God is not going to judge us- nor our children- on their BMIs. sigh. NO- I AM NOT FAT.

You need to look up what happened in North Carolina a few days ago. A home-made HEALTHY lunch was taken from a child.. in school. I was also a teacher- and it is NOT the business of the government to mandate what our children eat. When people forfeit their responsibility over to the government.. we lose more freedoms. We are already in a police state.

The goverment is sticking their noses too far into our business. How about the kids in poverty who don't get enough to eat? Instead of acting like dictators they need to offer help, solutions at a community level and butt out. It's different if kids are being truly abused obesity doesn't fit into that category. In many cases the parents are also obese.

@mechiefslapahobitch I do get it. But shielding my child from all forms of "brainwashing" is also unhealthy. Then when they do go out into the world they will have no idea how to navigate social situations.... you see my point. Talking to your children and raising them in a healthy environment is most important.Giving your children the knowledge to survive on this earth with or without the system. That is good parenting.

My high school had a damn candy bar... seriously, it was outside the main cafeteria, and it sold nothing but candy and soda. It had two lunch ladies working full time in it during lunch hours. Pepsi cups.... so many pepsi cups. I remember the day in HS I realized I was addicted to soda.... it was sad. Public school is F'D up.... I'm glad I was home schooled for 8 years.
I like your videos, and as a parent this one really struck home. I find myself increasingly alarmed at the programs being run in schools. If schools are concerned about students nutrition they should really be taking a proactive role in Nutritional Education. They should be growing food on campuses at very least so kids know where their food comes from.

@LACYV1 Last week, I brought my son to an open house at a local school, to have a look. I left thinking 'how on earth could i sign him up for THAT?'
What they are mainly teaching kids is how to get used to the 'daily grind' and be good slaves. The teacher said they don't teach ABCs, reading, writing or math in K. What?? My son is only 4 and he knows all his letter sounds, can count to 100 with some help, and is starting to read. He LIKES that stuff!
