Designed by Laura Shigihara, Melolune is a story about a pair of twins who live in a land where people must collect song fragments and put them together in order to keep their world alive. After a catastrophic event takes the lives of the twins' parents, they are mysteriously separated.

Melolune is an adventure rpg that features a unique musical dungeon mechanic. The player has to use fragments of songs in order to solve puzzles and progress through the world. The soundtrack was also created by the game's designer and features a wide variety of immersive music that helps guide the story and gameplay.

Hey Laura, I was wondering, since this is as you claim to be only a demo version, does that mean that there is going to be a longer version of this song? The lyrics really touched me (わたしはにほんごをすこしだけはなします。) and I'm really hoping to hear more coming up on this game and its musics. Your voice is awesome!

@animalobssessor9 Thank-you, I'm glad you liked it^^ There isn't a longer version of the song (the demo refers to the game demo which is about 2.5 hours long... the full game is about 20 hours long). The song is actually not in Japanese... it's in a fake language that is spoken by a race of people in the game (the ancient Ciroans).

Looks kinda like a mixture of LoZ, Pokémon (because of that rocks you can move and the way you jump over things) and Final Fantasy. ._.

who in this world would dislike melolune i truly love this rpg and wish it was made full. Laura Shigihara and her companions worked super hard to make this game and SOME PEOPLE DISLIKE IT WELL WHY NOT SEE THEM MAKE AN RPG BETTER THAT MELOLUNE Laura shigihara is amazingly talented and i cherish that forever

Reading somewhere that you were a game music composer AND an indie game developer, my reaction was like, "Is she some kind of divine being!?!?".

I'll check this out, it looks better than many of the RpgMaker games you'd usually find.
