Jenn getting comfortable with the Smith and Wesson .38 Special/.357 Magnum.
She tried the Magnum rounds, but those were a bit much for her, so the .38's were the best choice. She did fairly well for not ever shooting outdoors before and never really practicing with me. We'll have to get her to the range more in 2008.
Why is she cocking every shot? I thought this was a double action gun.

It is preferable to shoot single action with this particular handgun from an accuracy standpoint due to the lighter trigger pull when firing SA in my humble opinion. Also, it is an SA/DA revolver, and can be shot either way - single or double.
