Your videos are very informative - stick the specific info just like you do here - keep them as short as possible. You deserve a better video quality and lighting (maybe the halogen shop lights - that's what I use for our product photos). I have a furniture company and I'd love to have your comments and suggestions - I'm using some of the stuff I learned in the video in our shop (picasaweb!google!com/sales.bb
f). Keep up the great work - your experience and intelligence really show.

That was a great solution. I use lots of scrap wood from a boat shop and I rarely get straight wood, seems the cut off is from curve cuts. Now finally I have a solution, which seems so simple now that I have seen it. Thanks also for touching on the safety side of ripping on the table saw. I have had those spears of wood shoot at me before and it makes a person a little jumpy. Thanks.

Great stuff. I am very impressed.

I think that may just be the sound out of sync...
Otherwise, great stuff as usual, Mr. Neil : )

Great instruction, thanks. Tell your camera man to quit tripping over stuff and making all that background noise.

Video was done for those who do not have a jointer,or a severe situation

Hey chord, does this to me sometimes as well, try allowing it to load completely before watching, pain, but sometimes it is the only way.

Hey Charles, that is some awesome info - I've had to teach myself to woodwork and it's been tough to say the least. I live where there's no one around to help show me things and I've found your videos INVALUABLE!!! Thanks so much for helping me to check my squares, a better way for drawer slides, and now, ripping great glue lines - you're awesome! Keep up the great videos =>

This is some good stuff. You can see that he is total set up for this with the offcut bin, the roller outfeed and of course the jig. It makes total sense to have a rough blade and come back with a sharper cleaner blade to get the best cut. He, Charles doesn't need a jointer because you can get a good glue edge from a table saw. The board that was being cut was pretty flat. He would likly use a jointer and/or planer if the board was seriously tiwsted.
Hey Charles, what about using a planar to straighten out that board?

planer or jointer, this piece doesnt have a decent edge
to even use a jointer on unless its a large one and alot of guys dont have jointers at all

Yeah I meant a jointer, not a planar..

normally a jointer would do well, this is an exception,
we just wanted to give guys with no jointer a way to straight line, hey thanks for your comments,
