The combination screen porch and adjacent hot tub deck Archadeck designed and built for this this Urbandale family provides a very cozy, private outdoor living space for any occassion. The screen porch features a cedar tongue-and-groove finished ceiling with a ceiling fan and light. The adjacent hot tub deck includes a privacy fence, railing and flared stairs to the backyard; plenty of seating space outside around the hot tub area. The screen porch is framed in cedar and was stained by our client to match / compliment the color of the house and the wood-alternative decking. The decking, railing and fencing - including the deck surface in the screen porch - were done using wood-alternative, low-maintenance material so this beautiful outdoor area also requires minimal maintenance and is splinter-free! And mosquito-free! And stress-free! This space along Urbandale's Patricia Park greenbelt system truly is a backyard getaway.
