if you put the subs on Top of screen, set the vert margin more than 2.5 times as large as font size.

How to change subs position.
open style manager.
select the style which you want to change the position (right side)
set the alignment and margins.
e.g.) if you have romaji & trans sub.
and you want to put romaji to top / center , trans to bottom / center,
set alignmnet 8 and vert margin 20 to romaji and alignment 2 and vert margin 20 to trans.

This script is only available in Aegisub 2.1.8 and later, and VSFilter 2.39 and later.

I often see the video that doesn't do this process on youtube^^;.
When the characters overlap each other messly or open the space too much, your script resolution does not match with the video resolution.
1. load the video or dummy video
2. menu - subtitles - resample resolution - click from video
3. and then apply karaoke template

and remove all rotation tags in all lines.
