If you knew anything about anything you would know that is would to to the thin part of the stick rather than the crossbar because the cross bar and rest of the net is in the ground distributing the force and weight out throughout it, unlike the stick that isn't grounded. Have a nice day failure

Oh, and by the way, most of the tensions are due to forces which are due to acceleration, and those kind of forces are only in places which have a mass changing it's speed. If you hit a heavy-ended stick to the crossbar like that, most of the forces go straight from the heavy end of the stick to the crossbar, and not to the thin part of the stick.

You clearly have 0% idea what the second moment of area is. Maybe a couple years of structural engineering studies and even a moron like you might be able to stfu in the presence of a once-in-a-generation-genius like me.

When bending a beam like that, whether if it's a real force or a force due to acceleration doing the bending, the point of the highest moment is exactly in the spot where the stick hits the crossbar.
