When these were being tested at the Nellis AFB electronic warfare range, we had to lock onto the chase planes then sneak up on the B1 to lock onto them. They aren't stealth but they do have a small radar signature. In Alaska, the first B1 to ever land at Eielson AFB blew the steering piston seal and had to be towed off the runway. No big deal, just inconvenient. Francio Miteron (I'm sure that is spelled wrong) called the B1 the worlds largest fighter jet.
