I wish they would release all the Gumbys with the original sound and music. It's so much better than that synth music and messed up voice crap on the Rhino releases! I'd start a petition if I knew how to!

That surf/beach part music instrumental for late 1960s sounds lihe it was written by British compuser/guitarists Syd Dale and Alan Hawkshaw [referring to the Prickle and Goo, P:rof.Kapp and Nopey and latterday Blockheads], but don't take my word for it here. The later Gumby theme's by Pete Kleinow, of Dr.Demento faovirtes Flying Burrito Bros. and a head animator-director-writer on Gumby.
Very nice!! The original cues: John Seely Associates cues used here: Open is [accoridngf to vairous sites] "Homestead"-Emil Cakdin and Harry Bluestone Opening shot C-13 Bill Loose Gumby prepping up and getting ready-(the only one I can't really ID with no indeitifable composer sound to me), possiblyHenry Russell (Olsen)?) Going out to play ZR-47 George Hormel Seeing Pokey (unknown) Pokey almost being run over by train-Runaway Trian-Harry Bluestone
@pennyf9 Regarding it being a 666, I noticed it has a horn on the top. Maybe that's why the 1988 redubbed version used a diesel locomotive horn instead of the original whistle?
