@Sonnekalb Kinda late answer, but yeah, the Might and Magic series since a whole decade before Daggerfall. I guess they waited a while to release a rather unrelated downstripped addition, but it's a nice game on it's own.

@gamergeek100 I seen this is the best ending, and I'm a devout Christian irl, so yea. I pretty much came to the same conclusion as you - Xana did not like him, I did not like him, so chaining him was inevitable, but the choice between Xana and Leanna came down to who appealed to me, and that was easily Xana.

Xana wants you to be free, Xana wasn't necessarily "evil", and Xana loved "you" for who you are. Leanna only liked for actions, and turns on you even if you choose good, but keep Xana.

This is a good ending because: You and Xana are freed from your chains. In other endings You are chained to the prophecy off a predetermined fate in the evil endings. In leanna "Good ending" You are bound to only be good, and serve others, and her love is only from your ability to do things. In this ending you shatter the chains on Xana so she can be free and by doing so your shackles are broken. What she wanted before was both you and her's freedom. That's why this is a good ending.
