I didn't give much detail as to what's happening in this video, but this might help.

Yes, I have modified my opening video. The new one now has a capacitor overloading to catastrophic failures. NOTE I will always be changing my Opening Video whenever more appropriate clips are in my possession.

The actual plates that you see are made of aluminum and do corrode in the water. The screws and bolts protruding from the side of the container are made of stainless steel and do not corrode. My idea is to constantly swap over the aluminum plates whenever necessary, Stainless steel is very expensive and costly. The Electrolyte I used was Sodium Chlorate (Table Salt). When saturated in the water, the cell pulls 30 amperes of current.

  • can you make a quick video on how you made the cell? Ive always wanted to make one but never wanted to spend much money to make it and yours looks like it wouldn't cost much money to make.

  • good idea doing this barefoot lol

  • song??

  • table alt is sodium chloride not chlorate but through electrolysis you could change chloride into chlorate giving you a strong oxidizer

  • Shit!

  • I love how you put the fire out.

  • @cappydawg thanks:)
