Don't know what happened to my comment before but..I've tried debating such deniers. They lunge at you with a seemingly endless tirade of distortions, attempts at trivializing the nature of the issue, and just plain fabrications. It's tough to keep up the patience need to make calm refutations. Great job.

So the Jews, according to Holocaust deniers, have lied about the Holocaust and still are to this day. Well the thing that I'm seemingly not getting as of now is....if the Jews were lying about the Holocaust, then they weren't the only ones. American soldiers have liberated these camps and saw the horrors and atrocities being done there...were they lying? Of course, Americans and Jews have always been allies (according to some). Well guess what...the British soldiers were there too.

The Holocaust industry is alive and well with plenty of documentation. However, missing from the documents: 33 million Russian Christians slaughtered by the Nazi war machine. A quarter of Ukraines largely Catholic population was exterminated. 20 million plus Chinese civilians butchered raped and burned alive by the Japanese and 2 million German civilians whom were incinerated in their homes by the RAF. Is it not inhuman to diminish their suffering as less than that of the jews.

The holocaust was real. There is no discussion about this. Many US soldiers came home with horror stories about what they saw. Stories about the truth of the attempted destruction of the Jewish children, and adults. Anyone who would desecrate this truth, can go fuck themselves, a lot.

I myself am not a holocaust denier. I believe the holocaust really happened. But I think even holocaust deniers should be given full freedom of speech. If he see someone who denies the holocaust, I just don't take him seriously and get on with my life. Those who should combat holocaust denial are historians, not officials of the law! Ah, I could almost cry with gratitude. I've just spent a while arguing with a couple holocaust deniers.  They start off with pseudo facts and sound fairly plausable but as soon as they are challenged they descend into ant-semitic bullshit. So sad in this day and age. Thanks for providing a well resarched counterpoint, even if the facts are truly distressing.
