@maximumsatann i think they knew but at that time people had a hard time accepting it, Or wanted to live in denial. Same thing with Freddie Mercury. Is he gay or is he straight?. It was a big issue in those times. Good for both of them to keep the public in the shadows because if they came out in those days their careers would not been as successfull as they are. Different times and era. The music is whats important. Not their private life. But in the "good old days".... u get it.
