I found out today there is a reason they are a dollar. One of the Maybelline lip products I purchased smelled mildewed. I called Maybelline, Loreal, Sally Hanson today. The shocking fact is that all the products I have bought at Dollar Tree are very old and have not been manufactured for up to 8 years ago. Shame on Dollar Tree. These products have laid around somewhere for years then a vendor buys them and prints the cards Dollar Tree hangs them in. They are not safe.

Thanks for the info but you take that risk with anything... I haven't run into anything bad with the products at the dollar and most of what i buy i have seen in drug stores before... but again thank you for the info

Yes, I agree it is the most amazing store on earth!!! I go to dollar tree at least 1 a wk.! I don't find any good makeup at mine though!

lol i know what you mean the dollar tree closest to my house never has any makeup so i never go to that one for makeup i end up going to one thats about 5 mins away...
