A brand new sector is on the rise in China, where human cadavers are being shaped, prepared and mummified for exhibition.

The new 'mummy factory' launched an epoch making exhibition of skinned cadavers that completely show the muscle formation under the skin.

More than 22 million people in towns such as New York, London and Tokyo are forming long queues to view the cadavers.

The sector started to develop in 1970s when plastination, a method of filling the veins with polymers, made it possible to preserve bodies for a long time.

The first exhibition of this kind was held in Japan by Dr. Gunther von Hagens, a 61- year-old German scientist who invented plastination and whose show, "Body Worlds," has attracted 20 million people worldwide over the past decade.
