Nick Jonas Story- Chpater 11 Part 1

This was originally part of Chapter 10 but I decided it was wayyyy to long so I split up the chapters, enjoyAnd also this chapter is in memory of a little boy I knew called Isaac, he was 7 when he passed away and he had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 5 I miss you sweetie, my god bless your soul and my your rest in peace.

Chapter 11- Fun Times

Nicks POV

I was checking my sugar levels when Philly came up to me
"Oh hey," I said softly and gave a smile.
"170, not bad, tad bit high though." she said
"How d'you know?"
"Oh well my best friend used to have diabetes. "I looked into her eyes and saw a hint pain.
"Best friend?"
"Well... its kind of a long story"
"We've got time." I said whilst I put my equipment away.
"Well ...when I was 12, I went on a trip to the... orphanage and it was near my house. There I met Isaac, my best friend. He was 11 and he was really sweet. Both of his parents had died ...when he was only 2 and so he lived in the orphanage for a long time. I used to go meet him every week and play with him, I could tell him anything I wanted and we were really tight. He used to love sports, his favourite was football...I mean soccer," she smiled a bit . "When he was 15, he got diagnosed with diabetes, type 1. It was really a tough time for him and he got really de-pressed about it. But I encouraged him and he made it some how!. He was the best, ...I really miss him. "She was tearing up now and fiddling with a ring on her left middle finger.
"He gave me this as a 16th birthday present, few weeks after he found out he had diabetes," she held her hand up and I took it. I looked at the ring, it was beautiful. It was a silver ring with Live, laugh, love engraved on it.
"Its really beautiful!" I said and looked at her, her eye were welling up. I pulled her into a hug and comforted her
"Shh....its okay, its okay"
"Im sorry..." she said . I took her face in my hands and wiped a tear that trickled down her face with my thumb.
"You dont look nice when you cry!" I said trying to cheer her up. It worked and she smiled.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, its justl...Isaac, he died last year, in a car crash." Wow, that was bad. I felt so sorry for Philly. Thats tough for her, and Isaac, may his soul rest in peace.
"Oh..Im extremely sorry,"
"Its okay," I pulled her into another warming hug. We stood there just hugging, I know were just friends but man I think Im falling. This moment was perfect and I wanted it to last like this forever. I hope she just felt the same way to.


This moment had to end and she pulled away and smiled at me.
"Thank-you Nick! Anyways," she walked back a bit, "Dinners ready...shall we go?"
"Yeah sure, ladies first!" I said whilst nudging her out the door. She laughed
"Oh your such a gentleman!"
"Well Thank-you very much," I said doing an Elvis impression. She laughed her magical laugh again.

We chatted while we went downstairs and went to the garden, I check the time on my watch, it read 6:12. I went over to the barbeque and grabbed some food and went to sat down with Joe, Kevin, Mandy, Maya and Philly. We chatted some more about life on the road and how Joes shoe collection just reached 400 yesterday. Wow! Then Mandy decided it was photo time as she took out her digital camera and started taking pictures of everyone.
"Gather round everyone, group picture," and we all huddled round the camera. We did a normal pose, the a funny one, then a one with Joe, Kevin and Me wearing sunglasses and the girls around us acting like crazy fan girls. We took more funny pictures, with sunglasses, then by the pool...you know all that jazz.
We then joined everyone else on the patio and we talked. I kept on looking at Philly, I couldnt keep my eyes off her
"Oh come one, I bet your good!" I heard Maya say
Then someones phone rang
