when you opened the door I did hear any sirens going. Did they at least sound or something? advanced warning or was it "BOOM" theres a tornado. BTW, I live in kansas tornado alley.

Death toll still rising , just found out that my 9 year old Daughter's neighbors ( her best friend ) and the girls mother were killed in the Cullman Tornado. My Daughter is on her way to stay with me , just south of Birmingham , for a couple of days until my ex wife and her family get power and utilities restored , God Bless everyone involved in these tragedies.

I have not once in my 25 years of life(not long, I know) seen a storm cell of this magnitude. 130+ touch downs all within hours of each other? Simply unbelievable. God bless everyone in the south. My heart goes out to all of you. Don't let your guard down yet. It's not always over when you think it's over. Take shelter. Gather up whatever necessities are needed for self reliance. This is a typical survival scenario here. Shelter. Water. Means to create fire. DRY clothing. Preparation is key!
