Springfest 2010 at JMU

James Madison University Springfest 2010. These were some of the videos I took earlier of the outdoor block parties just before the riot police came...

This was the most insane party I have ever been to. There was approximately ten thousand people there. It was a bunch of block parties that turned into a riot. The riot started because the cops said earlier when the block parties were small that no one could play music so everyone got pissed off and it ended up a riot. Riot police cornered in on the riot from three directions one from which was up a hill and one where the dumpsters were burning and one from the gas stations using tear gas and riot shields to push(I was on the hill side). Gas stations were being robbed with cases of natty carried out and thrown all over the place. It was literally a hail storm of beer bottles and forties thrown from all directions and from balconies with windows smashed. The party spanned as far as the eye could see. Absolutely insane!!!
