  • because it has no friction....does that mean it can go infinitely fast? 0.o

  • @aloywkd It has friction from the air and from the spindle which rests on the mirror at the back of the motor.

  • where can i find the construction plans? i've already send a email but i havent get a response...onyone? i would like to build and improve this design if i can

  • Click "more info" at the top right of the page.

  • But the solar panels are generating electricity already. If you wanted to generate electricity then you would just use the panels on their own.

  • Nice job, thanks for posting the vid. Can you tell us the voltage and amperage each PV cell you used is, and did you hook the two cells in series or parallel to supply power to one of the coils? Thanks again, great demonstration.

  • @cowscrotus "kinetic energy and back to electricity again"

Most, but not all, types of motors can be used both ways.

  • @poopdood321JP "are just around the corner?"

Yes, but they are likely to stay there.

  • Does this mean levitating cars (no wheels) are just around the corner? ;)

  • Which produces more energy, the solar panels or the kinetic energy from the rotations? Is there a way of harnessing both at the same time?

  • @AlastairWright The motor converts electricity into mechanical force. Yes, you could get the solar panels to power a regular electric motor and it would generate more force, but the magnets add style points.

  • Awesome.

  • that is beautiful. . . . i wish i could buy this in store. . .

  • Fucking magnets!! How do they work?
