@jpnn80 Concerts are always a bugger when it comes to recording video and taking pictures, especially with elaborate productions with complicated light sequences. Even when you think you have the perfect settings, its always a hit or miss because the lighting always changes from frame to frame.

Hey Yorin here is a quick tip from my experience with camcorders: the auto aperture is staying wide open as it focuses on the dark surrounding stage covering the majority of your video frame, rather than focusing on the singer's face under the bright light of a projector. So to avoid having the singer's blanked by light, zoom in on it and then the camcorder will reduce the level of aperture enough to make the face visible.
