Undeterred by the mysterious loss of the first expedition, we sent another one. The deep interior proved hellish, a hot cavern of spikes, with no sign of controlling machinery. But then we found what may be some kind of a seed, itself a kilometer long and nearly half that in width. Perhaps the whole thing is somehow biological; perhaps it grows from seeds like these...

Beautiful. And, really good job at not going through stuff!  The only criticism I can make is that its not in 1080p!
