  • Try adjusting the carb again, sounds like they set it up wrong, idle air screw might need adjustment, or the low jet. Find out what the settings should be and check them on paired to what it is currently.

  • I have a 1998 LX178 and I love it!!! I plow snow with it here in Michigan. I take care of five of my neigbors driveways all season long.  We just had eight inches of snow on12/21/08. I have never come across any snow that will stop it. Even that heavy snow berm that the county leaves at the end of the driveway. Great video! Thanks for sharing.

  • The really old John Deeres like the 70 or 60 had a Tecumseh but all the others where made with Kohlers Briggs and Strattons and the LX's were made with Kawasaki's
