@SyntaxMagenta There's are quite a few factors that make this song seem very dark. For one, It literally puts you in the dirt, saying you cant do anything so dont even try, VERY unusual for a sonic game. On top of that, Eggman basically says he wants sonic DEAD. The main chorus of this song sounds awesomely eerie, the chimes with that main pad give most of the effect. Now throw in the fact that this game has two hidden "childhood-scarring" images you can find. There ya go. DARK
