Good sir, you're a cautious man and experienced snake handler. However sometimes it seems you re taking incredible risks, like when you poured water into the box, it could have jump out or something, i mean you were in striking range more than once. it scares me even thought you re a professionnal . Also what are eye caps ? is it human placed or a snake residual of bad shedding ?

lil trick ive learned is use scoch tape to remove eye caps. Been using the method for about 6 yrs now an it has not ever harmed any of my snakes. causes less stress to the snake rather than digging at the eye with tongs.

Looks like you are in a garage or something with easy access to the outdoors. When handling a snake like this, shouldn't you be in an enclosed space in case the snake makes a break for it...and you lose site of it?
